I had trouble with the non chemistry between the 2 main characters. Single mom and good neighbor start out as friends that seems to evolve into love. She can't seem to have sex with anyone but him but he has no problem with screwing other women even after admitting he is falling in love with her. Then he runs away when he is traumatized by a car wreck only to come back later in a lackluster reappearance. The plot line got a little preachey causing the ending to fall flat. Even then epilogue that featured a quickie Vegas wedding and the sudden appearance of a 6 month old son (with no back story on HIS appearance) couldn't save it. This is a sweet and heart warming friends to lovers, second chance romance between a single mom and her hot, relationship avoiding neighbor. You'll get the drama and some heartache, but you can't learn to appreciate the sun until you've emerged from the darkness.Carys never expected to be a mom so young. Definitely not a single one at that. She had planned to be touring as a prima ballerina. Life rarely goes as planned. An accident took away her dream. Her daughter gave her a new one.Carys does not know her neighbor well. All she knows is that he is totally hot and single.
